Huawei released 2 new high-end Android phones at CES, the Ascend Mate and the Ascend D2. Both models are very big and can be called ‘phablets’!
The Ascend Mate is a phablet running on Huawei’s Emotion UI on top of Android 4.1 Jellybean with a 6.1” 720p display. Inside, is a 1.5 Ghz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM and 32 internal flash memory which is expandable by using SDcards .
The Ascend Mate has a 8 MP camera and a 1.5 MP front-facing camera.
The best thing about this device is it’s 4050 mAh battery which should provide you 48h of power.
This device supports Wifi, 3G, Bluethoot 4.0 and is avaialable in black or white!
The Ascend Mate has a 5” Full-HD display and a 1.5 Ghz quad-core processor, and he is also running on Emotion UI on top of Android 4.1 Jellybean.
It’s amazing 13 MP camera can shoot video’s in Full-HD , the Ascend Mate has a 1.3 MP front-facing camera as well!
It has 32 GB internal flash storage but that is not expandable! The Ascend D2 has a 3OOO mAh battery and supports Wifi, 3G and Bluethoot 4.0.
I like the Ascend D2 a bit more because of it’s amazing display and amazing camera . I think 32 GB should be enough for those who don’t put so much on their smartphone. For those who do, I don’t think this device is a good choice for you!
